Parkway's Music Program

Parkway's Music Program is directed by Dr. Dale Norris. Dale has been: • A pianist of 50 years • 34 years as music educator and university professor; • Numerous choral and instrumental awards at the district and state levels; • 30 years as church musician in various capacities including choral director, pianist, organist, choir member • Over 25 stage productions, operas and/or musicals in various capacities including conductor, vocal coach, rehearsal pianist, performance pianist, orchestration and arranging, cast member, leading role, chorus; • Over 35 years experience as an orchestral musician in various capacities including conductor, violinist, pianist, percussionist; • Conducted numerous major choral works including "Messiah," (Handel), "Gloria," (Vivaldi), "Mass in G," (Schubert); "Wachet Auf," Bach Cantata No. 140 He oversees our chancel choir in which he invites members and friends of all ages. The choir practices on Sunday morning before worship. We have plans in the future to reactive our bell choir and get a children's choir going as well.
